Wearing Red lips on Your Wedding Day.

So if you know anything about me or have met me only one time, you should know that my personality is far from reserved. I also do consider myself makeup obsessed. So if you ASK ME whether or not it is acceptable to wear Red Lips on your wedding day I would argue most definitely. Look how easy is it to turn a simple look into GORGEOUS by throwing on a quick swipe of color. Don’t you think it pops? To show what I mean we did a quick styled shoot down town in Baton Rouge to show you just how easy it is to turn your wedding day into super glam, by simply wearing Red Lipstick! Check out some of the shots we got and let us know what YOU THINK!

10 Ways Photographers can Succeed at a Bridal Show
(Pictures at Bottom) Hi! This is only my second time at a bridal show. So I guess you could say things are getting pretty serious(lol if you know). On a serious note I'd say it went pretty well.  It seems you can learn ALOT  just by putting yourself out there. The first time I did a Bridal show, I crashed and burned. Not that I was unprepared, but I was rather clueless & I don't feel that my booth reflected my company well. Did I get weddings from it? Yes. Probably just from the sheer number of people that came through that event...THAT SHOW WAS MASSIVE. Yet, had I done it properly I could've gotten more. I'm just going to give you some ...

When They Don’t Choose You.
I woke up and this was on my mind and heart today. I want to talk about when a client, OR a person doesn’t choose you. I thought, wow, this isn't just for a wedding photographer like myself, but for everyone! Let’s face it, at some point everyone will face rejection whether in business, relationships, or life. I can just imagine a man sitting at the table with his face in his hands, as his wife pushes divorce papers in front of him. I can see the girl who didn’t get picked for the cheerleading team. I see a new salesman who can’t seem to meet his quota at the car dealership, and he feels like a failure. Mr. Wall street man gets hand ...

It’s Okay to be Friends with Your Competition.
I recall a podcast where a man said if someone is stealing your clients you shouldn't view them as competition, but rather you should want them on your team. Also, something along the lines of (if people are stealing your clients) your system is weak + it needs improvement, so who better to befriend than your competition right? We shouldn't be mad at other people for doing something BETTER than us, instead we should want to learn how we can improve our systems. Do you genuinely agree with that? Here is the link to the podcast/video and I highly recommend you all listen to if you own a business. Be prepared, it is an hour long, but you will fi ...
